Terms of Use
Last updated: May 13, 2026
Welcome to Travel India (travelindia.io). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the travelindia.io website (the “Site”). By visiting, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What this Site is
Travel India is an editorial travel blog created and operated by Ashvinee Nagle. It publishes destination guides, itinerary ideas, food and culture stories, and general planning advice for travel within India. The content is informational and reflects the author’s personal experience and research.
Travel India is not a registered travel agent, tour operator, or licensed advisor. The trip-planning conversations offered through the Site are personal recommendations, not bookable travel services. Any actual bookings (flights, hotels, transport, activities) are made by you directly with the respective providers.
2. No professional liability
Travel information changes constantly. Prices, opening hours, road conditions, visa rules, safety advisories, weather patterns, and local regulations can all change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep the content current, but we cannot guarantee accuracy or completeness at any given moment.
You agree that any travel decision you make based on Site content is your own responsibility. Travel India, Ashvinee Nagle, and any contributors are not liable for losses, damages, missed connections, cancellations, illness, injury, or any other consequence arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information published here. Always verify time-sensitive details (visa rules, road conditions, current government advisories, weather warnings) with official sources before traveling.
3. Third-party links
The Site contains links to third-party websites — hotels, booking platforms, government tourism boards, transport operators, mapping services, and similar. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, availability, or anything you receive (or fail to receive) from them. Following an external link is at your own risk.
Some outbound links may, in the future, be affiliate links — meaning Travel India earns a small commission if you book or buy through them at no extra cost to you. Where this applies, it is disclosed on the Disclosure page.
4. Intellectual property
All original text, photographs, illustrations, design elements, and other content on the Site are the intellectual property of Ashvinee Nagle / Travel India, unless explicitly credited otherwise. You may:
- Read, view, and share short passages with proper attribution and a link back to the original page.
- Quote up to 50 words in non-commercial contexts (e.g. blog posts, school projects) with a credit line and link.
You may not:
- Republish full articles or large portions of content on other websites, apps, or AI-training datasets without prior written permission.
- Use the Travel India name, logo, or original imagery to imply endorsement of a product, service, or organisation.
- Scrape the Site at scale for commercial use.
If you’d like to reproduce content, write to ashvineenagle@travelindia.io with the details of your intended use.
5. User-submitted content
If you submit a trip-planning enquiry, newsletter signup, comment, or any other communication through the Site, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You grant Travel India a non-exclusive licence to use that information for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, improving the Site, and communicating with you (subject to the Privacy Policy).
We reserve the right to moderate or remove any user submission that is abusive, defamatory, misleading, spam, or otherwise inappropriate.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, why, how it is stored, and your rights regarding it.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page or through the newsletter, where relevant.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to the use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
